Obama Dog
Um… maybe I’m crazy, but who gives a care about the family dog that the Obamas are going to get? I mean, really, how is this going to change anything. It’s just so extremely stupid. It’s even worse than discussing Michelle Obama’s dress at the acceptance speech. Gosh it’s so pointless! This is why America is how it is. It would be one thing if it’s all the media talked about because they chose to. But it’s worse, because people actually want to hear about this kind of thing. Maybe it’s because they want to see that the Obama family is like their family… or maybe they’re a bunch of idiots. The point is this: Barack Obama is soon going to be the Commander in Chief of the United States of America. Why are we focusing on his prospective hairless Peruvian dog (no, that isn’t a joke, it’s actually true) when we should be focusing on what change (if any, and for that matter, positive or negative?) he will bring to our country?
It’s been said that the choice of dog breed and name can be a subconscious reflection of the owner’s personality. Considering how nuances of personality can affect presidential leadership and decisions, wouldn’t choice of dog provide an unseen window into the mind of the president-elect, and thus be worthy of attention?
